These willows on the restored Millennium Creek, are perfect for creating spawning habitat!
The trout redd over a willow limb, buried by leaves from the fall drop and gravel of the right size. The trout have a nice undercut bank to hide beneath, when trouble comes along!
The eggs will incubate over the winter months, and provide good recruitment for both the wildlife and the human sports anglers.
