Caddis come in many different protective shells or armor!

Caddis Larva

Sometimes a hollow twig is used for a cover of armour, for the caddis fly, until it out-grows its habitat!

Video of Caddis Fly Larvae around Town

Watch how invertebrates clean the rocks!

Yes, both snails and certain grazing caddis fly larva, eat algae and snails are already known to eat Diddymoe, the rock snot of our trout streams and rivers!

Now, Check Out Some Other Cool Bugs!

I meant other aquatic invertebrates, which means they have exoskeletons, and shells, as in crustaceans! The caddis build their own protective shells, by utilitzing available materials, just like humans do, to survive.

This video was taken on the two local trout streams that I fished as a boy and now try to protect as a man!

Enjoy the relaxation of watching alien beings traverse the bottom of local streams.
